Las Vegans for Better Transit (LVBT) runs lvwwd.org. You can read the guides, find a bus, and play Bingo without signing up. Entering the giveaway in My week requires a sign-up and an internet connection.
What you give us
For the giveaway, we ask for your first name, email address, ZIP code, county, and whether you are 18 or older or 13 to 17. An Instagram handle is optional. We use these details to identify your entries, check eligibility, send a My week link when email delivery is available, and email the winner.
For a trip you enter in My week, we keep the date, travel mode, and description. You can separately tell us what was hard. A post link or screenshot is optional. For an Instagram tag logged by a volunteer, we keep the day and a post link if available. Volunteers use this information to review entries. LVBT may use what people report about travel barriers to advocate for better transit, stops, and sidewalks. We will ask before publishing a story or image that identifies you; checking the sharing box on an entry gives that permission for its post or screenshot.
If you save a trip plan, we keep its starting point, destination, any event name, the day and approximate time, and the ways you say you can travel or would consider traveling. Saved plans are private to your My week. They do not enter the giveaway, and you can remove them there.
The trip comparison sends the places and departure time you enter to Google Maps to find routes. LVBT does not save these searches or the route results. If you choose Save to My week, your starting point, destination, day, time, and travel mode move to the planner on this device for review. We keep them only if you save that plan. Opening directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps also shares the places you entered with that service. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Terms of Service for Google’s handling of route searches.
If you sign up through a partner link, we record that partner with your sign-up so LVBT can count sign-ups from its outreach. The site does not show your identity to partners. Bingo marks are saved in your browser; when you are signed in, your card can also be saved with your account so it follows you to another device.
Links, cookies, and notifications
My week uses a sign-in cookie on your device. A link sent to your email can sign in another device, so do not share it. Sign out to end the session on one device. Email links are sent through Resend when delivery is configured; if it is unavailable, this device can remain signed in.
If browser reminders become available and you turn them on, we store the subscription address and keys your browser gives us, along with when you subscribed and the last day sent. A reminder for a saved plan may show its event or destination and time on this phone's lock screen. Stop reminders in My week to remove that subscription.
Who handles the information
LVBT volunteers with access to the protected review page can see sign-ups and entries. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores campaign records and uploaded screenshots, and protects the forms. Google Maps supplies live route comparisons. Resend handles sign-in emails when it is configured. A registered Instagram tag is reviewed by a volunteer on Instagram; Instagram handles that content under its own terms.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page views. LVBT also counts actions such as sign-ups, trip entries, Bingo marks, and bus finder use. These counts do not include your name, email address, trip locations, or other form answers. Analytics does not use a cookie or a visitor ID. It does not run when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control request. LVBT does not sell campaign information or send campaign sign-up addresses to LVBT's mailing list. Joining LVBT is a separate choice on LVBT's website.
Deletion and your choices
Campaign records, saved trip plans, sign-in links, Bingo records tied to an account, draw records, and notification subscriptions are scheduled for deletion starting November 30, 2026. Uploaded screenshots may take additional daily cleanup runs. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at wwd@lasvegasfortransit.org. Deleting an entry removes it from the draw. You can also remove Bingo data saved only on your device through your browser's site storage settings.
